The Laurel Retreat

So every year in our ward we usually have a young women retreat, all of the young women in our ward go to the Ellsworth's cabin and spend the night.. being girls :) And it's always tons of fun! but THIS year, just the laurels went.. and it was even more fun! :) No gonna lie.. I freakin LOVE all the girls in our ward.. but a whole night with the screaming beehives.. is a little much..

The best thing about being in my ward is how close all the girls are! I seriously have five best friends in just the laurel class! And i love them all to pieces!! :D

Well, Our agenda consisted of, Reading the scriptures together(amazing to have all our experiences and thoughts come together), playing games together, taking pictures(mostly "animal pictures" with are hilarious and will follow), playing family fued, Making cookies, drinking hot chocolate, taking more pictures, watching Bride and Predjious(the most hilarious Bollywood production), and staying up til two o'clock, you guessed it, taking pictures and talking! :D Yay, we're girls!! Then we woke up in the morning and had the most amazing breakfast, cooking by our amazing leaders, then we packed up and went home! It was so rad :) I love being with such fabulous people!

This year i can buy cigerettes in vegas! Woooo...

This year i'm moving to Texas!

This year, I'll hopefully get a Job.

This year, I'll hopefully pass my AP tests.

This year, I'll hopefully have 10 college credits for Chemistry done.

This year, I'll hopefully have friends that leave on missions!

This year, I'll hopefully do something awesome.

This year, i'll hopefully play a wicked sweet solo in Jazz Band.

This year, I'll hopefully make it to state solo and ensemble.

This year I'll grow as a person.

This year my testimony will grow.

This year I'll learn as much as i can.

This year i'll become a better person.

I got to hang with my buddies! We hung out at Mel's house before the New Years Eve dance.. Which in and of itself was not that exciting... It was acutally pretty lame.. But that's alright! I still had fun with my friends! Had a couple of surprises :) hehe
The only bad thing that i was already tired when the dance first started! So it was hard for me to be enertegic at midnight! But it all worked out!

I know this is kinda late, but my Christmas was amazing!

I freakin love my family. Alot.

I Missed my older sisters like CRAZY!

I wouldn't give them up for anything!

And i love my Savior, and the time we had to Celebrate his life!

i'll be forever grateful for what he gave me.

YAY! SADIE HAWKINS!!

Here in Utah land the girls tag the boys for the sadie hawkins dance! Literally, TAG. Like.. I had to chase my future date, Glenn Rice, for two hours.. At Wal Mart, the parking lot of a football game.. Wendys.. and FINALLY, Arbys.... Yeahhhh.. It was fun though! I got him!

Also, Here in Utah land we have day dates :) Which are incredibly fun[most of the time, day dates are the best part of the whole dance experience]! For our group's day date we went ice blocking[get a block of ice and slide down grassy hills on it in various ways] and played board games[um, play board games] It was super duper fun!

Our groups dressed up as.. storybook/disney couples!! SOOO fun!! :D I was going to be Thumbelinia at first :) but then i got convinced by my wonderful friends to be snow white.. cause of my hair :) so i did!! And my AMAZING Mother made me a dress and Glenn a prince ish tunic!! [I love you mom! THANKS!] yeah! It turned out awesome!!

The Dance was definately THE BEST though!! The Music was awesome!! They actually played the songs i requested!! and i danced like NONE OTHER!! I was sweating sooooo much because of it! I guess you didn't really need to know that..... just proving my point! It was alot of fun though :)
